Can I use my US Shipping Address only for online orders?
Your US shipping address can be used for online orders and delivery from stores in the Miami-Dade area or for anyone to send you packages.
Do I need to sign up for an account?
You must have an account to use our services, and track your packages
Can others use my account to ship?

How long will it take to receive my goods?
Depends on the country and the shipping services used.
Generally, ocean freight packages are available 7 to 11 days from shipment day

How do you charge for shipping of a package?
We charge mainly based on the volume of the package. We use an industry standard formula: we multiply the length by the width by the height, all in inches, and then we divide by 166 to get the dimensional weight (DW).
We use the following rules to provide you the lowest rate possible
- Packages with volume of 0.25 cubic feet or less, are charged using the lower of the actual weight in pounds (lbs), instead of by their dimensional weight (DW)
- Packages with a volume above 0.25 cubic feet, are charged by their dimensional weight (DW)
- Packages with actual weight above 100 lbs are charged by the greater of their actual weight (lbs) instead of by their dimensional weight (DW)
For Reference
- Cubic Feet = Length(feet) x Width (feet) x Height (feet)
- 0.091 cubic feet (cf) is equivalent to a dimensional weight (DW) of 1 lb
- Dimensional weight (DW) = Volume (CF) / 0.091
- 1 cubic foot (cf) (1ft x 1ft x1ft) = 10.4 DW (Rounded Up = 11 (DW) )
Do you consolidate packages?
We do not consolidate packages that you order independently to be shipped directly.
However, we can consolidate items you order via our Special-order Service, free of charge.
What currency are the prices on your site?

How can I pay for my packages?
You can pay for our services at our local stores, via
cash, check, credit card or local bank transfers.
Do I have to submit my invoices?
All invoices must be submitted before the package can be shipped from our Miami warehouse.

Do I have to pay customs duties?
Customs duties are levied on goods based on the cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) values and rates determined by the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Common External Tariff (a government tax on imported and exported goods). Please note that duties collected by ShipShack on behalf of the government, is paid to the government and not kept by ShipShack. Customs has the legal right to examine all packages entering the country. If goods require the involvement of other agencies (Agriculture, Fisheries, Police Commissioner, etc.) Please refer to your local customs and Excise Department for further clarification on duties.
What happens if my package is lost?
If your package has not arrived at our US warehouse and appears to be lost, contact your vendor immediately to find the best solution for you. Sometimes customers may enter the wrong ShipShack account #. These items will arrive at our US warehouse; however, our team will not know which account to assign the packages to.
